THE LION AND THE MOUSE
Once upon a time there lived a lion in a forest .one afternoon he was sleeping peacefully in his den . Little mouse was playing near by. While playing the mouse suddenly entered into the lion's nostril . This broke the lion's sleep and he became very angry . He at once caught the mouse with his paws , and was about to kill the mouse . The mouse became very much afraid and said to the lion , " Lord , you are the king of the beasts . I am a tiny creature .please forgive me this time . I will do you a good turn in future ." The lion smiled little and let mouse go .
After a few days one day the lion was roaming about in search of food , in the forest . Suddenly he fell in trap . He began to roar in anger . The mouse heard the lion's roaring and went there . He recognised the lion and said , " Don't be nevous , my lord , I am going to free you soon . So saying the mouse began to cut the ropes of the net with his sharp teeth and thus saved the lion's life . The lion thanked the mouse realising that even a little creature can do good to a mighty animal .
Moral :- Even the little can help the mighty
